Ezequiel Aguilar is an incredibly intuitive and sensitive teacher. He has a great ability to reign in my son and get him engaged and refocused. My son can be especially challenging at times, but Ezequiel handles him with grace and without even a hint of frustration allowing my son to regain the confidence he might have lost in a few moments of struggle. We're so grateful he is on your team.
I would hire Hugo back in a heartbeat, in fact I am! He tutored my 15 year old daughter who has been struggling w/Algebra 1. The first lesson was a success. Hugo asked the right questions to get to the root of my daughter's unclarity and made sure she understood before moving on.
Val is so wonderful with Denise. She's adaptive and if Denise wants to work on a certain subject or area she'll shift (within reason) with her to keep with her interest and stay educational. Denise counted to 100 for her first time (twice!) with Val today and she's still beaming!
I have an 8yr old and 9yr old. He was very understanding and explained himself numerous times if the kids needed it. Also letting my boys understand that not knowing how to say the word is ok but still try. Because if mistakes are not made they aren't learning. Great so far.
Lena did such a great job teaching and encouraging the kids (aged 5 & 6) to play chess. She helped them think about strategy, make plans, and encouraged them to try new ways of playing. The kids absolutely loved her and we're excited to have her back!
Val is awesome! My son has been working with her for about 3 weeks in math. He is apply the techniques Val has been showing him for Pre-Algerbra. It's starting to show in his grades, couldn't be happier for him thanks to Val!!!
Isabella is a really fun and creative science teacher and my group of kids took to her instantly. She's very adaptable and works well with young children. We're looking forward to seeing her again next week!
Val is so wonderfully patient with my daughter and she makes sure she understands before advancing to the next activity/word. She mixes in math too which helps keep a hyper 4 year old engaged!
